The Los Angeles Dodgers\u2019 trip to the White House won\u2019t happen next month during the team\u2019s only scheduled road trip to Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

The Boys in Blue will be in the nation\u2019s capital to face the Washington Nationals from April 3 to 5, but the Orange County Register\u2018s Bill Plunkett<\/a> reports that \u201csources confirmed that the Dodgers will not visit the White House\u201d during that time.<\/p>\n

\u201cScheduling the traditional visit could be challenging this time around,\u201d he added on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Specifically, the game times against the Nationals make a daytime visit to the White House impossible.<\/p>\n

Last year, the Dodgers were able to visit and celebrate with President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n

Will the Dodgers Visit the White House at All?<\/p>\n

All indications are the Dodgers will eventually make it to the White House to celebrate their 2025 World Series win.<\/p>\n

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he will attend as a matter of tradition.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was raised \u2014 by a man who served our country for 30 years \u2014 to respect the highest office in our country. For me, it doesn\u2019t matter who is in the office, I\u2019m going to go to the White House. I\u2019ve never tried to be political,\u201d\u00a0Roberts told the Los Angeles Times\u2019 Bill Shaikin<\/a> at DodgerFest.\u00a0\u201cFor me, I am going to continue to try to do what tradition says and not try to make political statements, because I am not a politician.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Could the Dodgers Visit the White House?<\/p>\n

As Plunkett notes, the Dodgers\u2019 visit would likely have to wait until the summer.<\/p>\n

After the All-Star break, the Dodgers have a nine-game road trip in New York City and Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

\u201cA side trip to D.C. before the July 17-19 series at Yankee Stadium would shorten the All-Star break by a day for Dodgers players \u2013 a sacrifice many would not likely endorse,\u201d he wrote. \u201cAfter three games in Philadelphia, however, the Dodgers have an off day before returning to New York for a three-game series against the Mets.\u201d<\/p>\n
