He\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=djCqNPPBkB4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">was in the analyst\u2019s chair<\/a>\u00a0for the network\u2019s broadcast of Cal Ripken\u2019s 2,131st consecutive game \u2014 a game for which Martinez\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacsportshof.com\/buck-martinez\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">collected a Sports Emmy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, Martinez is primarily identified with the Blue Jays, the team he played for over the final six seasons of a 17-year <a href=\"https:\/\/thebiglead.com\/mlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">MLB<\/a> career.
