We\u2019ve arrived at the final weekend of spring training, and we can now count the number of exhibition games the Yankees have left on one hand. New York has four spring training dates left on the schedule, and by Wednesday next week, they\u2019ll be in San Francisco to begin the season with a special Opening Night matchup with the Giants. We already have probable starters for that game, with Max Fried and Logan Webb scheduled to face off at 8 pm EST. It\u2019s close enough that we can taste it, but for now, we\u2019ll work through the last games on the exhibition slate as the Yankees and rest of baseball make their final tuneups.<\/p>\n
It\u2019ll be a relatively quiet day on the site today. In the morning, Kento will argue that the Dodgers aren\u2019t exactly ruining baseball, and Sam will reflect on Frankie Montas\u2019 career on the occasion of the right-hander\u2019s birthday, while Matt gives us the results from this week\u2019s SB Nation polls.
