The Chicago White Sox have a lot of young talent littered throughout their farm system. As a result of struggling at the major league level, the team has been able to draft high and get quality talent. However, it is also a statement of being able to develop the players themselves in their minor league system. The White Sox have some major names in their system who could be on the fast track to the bigs. Let\u2019s take a deeper dive into who one outlet is considering to be the White Sox\u2019s top prospect heading into the 2026 season.<\/p>\n

Bleacher Report created a list of the top 100 prospects<\/a> entering the 2026 season. The White Sox are featured heavily on there as they have five players noted on this list. Their top prospect finds himself 48th on this list in shortstop\/third baseman Caleb Bonemer. Below is a snippet that was written about him from the article:<\/p>\n

His future is likely at the hot corner, but he has more than enough offensive upside to be a clean fit.\u201d<\/p>\n

At only 20 years old, Bonemer is expected to take some time before finding himself in the majors. He was selected in the second round of the 2024 MLB Draft and only made appearances in Single-A last season. There is still a lot of developing that needs to take place in order to be the star he\u2019s projected to be.
