{"id":638925,"date":"2026-03-23T13:40:20","date_gmt":"2026-03-23T13:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/638925\/"},"modified":"2026-03-23T13:40:20","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T13:40:20","slug":"rochester-man-accused-of-selling-ounce-of-cocaine-to-informant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/638925\/","title":{"rendered":"Rochester Man Accused of Selling Ounce of Cocaine to Informant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rochester, MN (<a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">KROC-AM News<\/a>)-\u00a0A Rochester man has been charged in connection with a controlled buy conducted by law enforcement.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\">See Also: <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/jessi-pierce-fatal-fire-minnesota\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Beloved Minnesota Sports Personality &amp; Her Three Children Identified as Victims of Fatal House Fire\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s according to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court on Friday.\u00a0The alleged drug sale happened nearly two years ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/KRFOFM.png\" alt=\"KRFO-FM logo\"\/>Controlled Buy Conducted by Olmsted County Sheriff&#8217;s Office Leads to Felony Drug Charge<\/p>\n<p>27-year-old Abdikadar Awil Ali is charged with one count of <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/crime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">first-degree drug sales<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the<a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/olmsted-county-sheriff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> Olmsted County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a> learned in the late\u00a0Spring of 2024 that an informant could obtain cocaine from Ali.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Law enforcement and the informant then set up a drug buy in northwest <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/rochester\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rochester<\/a>. Ali sold the informant 28.6 grams of <a href=\"https:\/\/krocnews.com\/tags\/drugs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">cocaine<\/a>, the complaint says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Ali is being charged by summons.
