The Seattle Mariners<\/a> are coming off one of their best seasons in franchise history. They finished the regular season with a 90-72 record, winning the AL West.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They were able to handle the Detroit Tigers<\/a> in the ALDS, but would fall short in the ALCS, losing a tight 4-3 series against the Toronto Blue Jays<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The front office got right to work during the offseason, and they’re in a pretty good spot for the new season. While they lost Eugenio Surarez, they were able to re-sign Josh Naylor and get a couple more deals done.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mariners’ fans should be fired up after seeing the latest season projection<\/p>\n

On top of signing Naylor, the club also acquired Brendan Donovan, Jose A. Ferrer, Rob Refsnyder, Andrew Kizner, Mitch Garver, and Cooper Criswell.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Take that, and the core that is returning, which includes one of the best starting staffs in all of baseball, a great offensive catcher in Cal Raleigh, and the leadership from Julio Rodriguez, and this is a team that has a chance to go far.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bleacher Report’s Tim Kelly<\/a> is high on this club, and the fans should be fired up to see that he has them penciled in to win the division once again.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“The M’s did lose Eugenio Suarez in free agency, but re-signed Josh Naylor and acquired the versatile Brendan Donovan to go into a lineup led by Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodr\u00edguez. Seattle wasn’t able to finish off the AL pennant a year ago, but they could very well do it in 2026.”<\/p>\n

Not only does Kelly believe they will win the division for a second year in a row, but he takes it a step further and believes they will erase the sour taste in their mouths from last season, win the ALCS, and go to the World Series for the first time in franchise history.<\/p>\n
