Several local student-athletes are taking the next step in their academic and athletic careers, recently announcing commitments to compete at the collegiate level.<\/p>\n
At Twin Lakes, senior Carson Wagner will continue his education and baseball career at Wabash College.<\/p>\n
The announcement marks the next chapter for Wagner as he prepares to compete at the college level.<\/p>\n
Fellow Twin Lakes student Ethan Need has also committed, signing to play football at Indiana Wesleyan University.<\/p>\n
Tri-County senior Madilyn Nevitt will continue her softball career at Northern Illinois University, where she will pitch for the Huskies.<\/p>\n
Nevitt played a key role in a strong season for the Lady Cavaliers last year, helping lead the team to a 24-3 record.<\/p>\n
On the mound, Nevitt compiled a 13-3 record with a 3.19 ERA and recorded 149 strikeouts over 85.2 innings.<\/p>\n
These commitments reflect the hard work and dedication of local student-athletes, both in the classroom and in competition.<\/p>\n
As they prepare to graduate, each will carry their talents to the collegiate level while representing their hometown communities.<\/p>\n
