Ownership and management of the Athletics baseball team are obviously very proud and happy that the team is building a brand new ballpark in Las Vegas. After all, getting a new baseball park at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip is going to be quite a step up from the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, and, of course, tiny Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento.<\/p>\n

With 80% of seats inside the foul poles, fans will feel closer than ever to the action. Opening in 2028, it\u2019s where the excitement of Las Vegas and the tradition of baseball come together.\u201d<\/p>\n That last sentence led the (untrademarked<\/a>) Athletics<\/a> to proudly share a new video showcasing the construction of their new ballpark in Las Vegas, which, as they stated in the post, opens in 2028. It didn\u2019t go very well for them.<\/p>\n Major League Baseball fans ripped the Athletics management and ownership for moving from Oakland<\/p>\n After sharing the video with the caption, \u201cOpening Day 2028 loading\u2026,\u201d baseball fans expressed their feelings about the A\u2019s moving to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n \u201c<\/a>This place is going to be packed with the opposing teams fanbase because all of the A\u2019s real fans are in Oakland where the team belongs,\u201d read one popular comment.<\/p>\n \u201cComing along awfully fast when you\u2019re still looking for another $800M in funding,\u201d another skeptical fan commented.<\/p>\n \u201c<\/a>Hope it tumbles to the ground,\u201d someone else wrote, while another comment simply read, \u201cYou screwed Oakland.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhere are they putting the slot machines and Dodgers<\/a> merch?\u201d another fan asked, echoing another comment that read, \u201c<\/a>It\u2019ll look amazing in Dodger Blue.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t
