Now Toronto got a sneak peek at what fans can expect at Rogers Centre ahead of the big day.<\/p>\n<p>The franchise is riding on a high following a short off-season (thanks to a great post-season). Although the Jays were eventually defeated by the Los Angeles Dodgers last November, The 2025-26 season was one for the books for the team and its fans, having given one of the league\u2019s most decorated teams a run for its money.<\/p>\n<p class=\"nt-read-more__title no-margin-top\">Read More<\/p>\n<p>The pregame ceremony ahead of Friday\u2019s home opener will be a celebration of the Jays\u2019 feats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFans will be invited to arrive early, and we\u2019ll celebrate with our players the run and the championship that ended in November,\u201d Marnie Starkman, the franchise executive vice president of business operations, says.<\/p>\n<p>Many giveaways planned for Jays home games<\/p>\n<p>There are lots of giveaways planned for the team\u2019s home games, with some giveaways guaranteed with the purchase of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/bluejays\/tickets\/theme-days\/specialty-tickets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Specialty Ticket<\/a> add-on on themed days. Otherwise, the items will be handed out to the first 15,000 fans that come through the door at \u201ca record 90 per cent of home games,\u201d according to the franchise.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of great stories we\u2019re trying to tell. A winning team, some exciting properties we\u2019re trying to focus on, and also a fun way to mix the old and new, which you\u2019ll see that show up throughout the promotions,\u201d Jess Wood, the director of promotions, says.<\/p>\n<p>Fans can keep up-to-date with the team\u2019s giveaway schedule on the promotion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/bluejays\/tickets\/promotions\/schedule?mlbkw=ds-g-&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=23480578548&amp;gbraid=0AAAAADq9DwDhiNzmn01RFce9Ar26Dg_tM&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwj47OBhCmARIsAF5wUEESaeq2mONnP-FsF5nWpEsEdhcNoAGEqjh7uv0VqNl3OnTJZV24QnAaAkDMEALw_wcB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Toronto Blue Jays celebrating its 50th anniversary<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the homeopener, Starkman says the upcoming 2026-27 season is something to look forward to, with the franchise celebrating its 50th year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve intentionally focused this year to celebrate our 50th on bringing some memorabilia, some history across the ball park,\u201d she says.<\/p>\n<p>And the ball park does just that, with displays of memorabilia from the team\u2019s most iconic moments scattered throughout the stadium.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" alt=\"Modern concession stand inside Rogers Centre with digital displays, offering snacks and beverages for Toronto Blue Jays fans before the game.\" class=\"wp-image-1536729 perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/IMG_3380-1800x1350.webp.webp\"  data-\/>An exhibit of the Toronto Blue Jays\u2019 history through the American League inside Rogers Centre<\/p>\n<p>Attendees can stroll past eight pillars incorporated into the concourse featuring everything from the great Home Run moments to the very glove Jose Bautista was wearing during his iconic bat flip moment.<\/p>\n<p>There is also an all-new, permanent exhibit dedicated to the team\u2019s run in the American League (AL) featuring some of the most memorable pieces from the franchise history for all to admire on the right field balcony.<\/p>\n<p>The throwback is also seen at the Jays Shop \u2013 including the vintage-inspired starter jacket and the new black and gold varsity jacket both featuring the team\u2019s 50th anniversary logo. The franchise says new merchandise will drop on a monthly basis, featuring the retro logo and homages to the team\u2019s history. Fans can stay up-to-date with the latest releases on the team\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bluejays\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Instagram<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>Former TD Clubhouse receives a multi-million dollar facelift<\/p>\n<p>The space formerly known as TD Clubhouse is ready to welcome its guests as <a href=\"https:\/\/bluejays.fanportal-mlb.com\/beyond\/rogers-terrace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Rogers Terrace<\/a>. Also in the mix are some sweet treats like french toast inspired by Smucker\u2019s Uncrustables and Munro\u2019s favourite: Rocky Road Sundae.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Jays face the Oakland Athletics for season opener<\/p>\n<p>The game starts at 7:07 p.m. EST.
