Ernie Clement and George Springer of the Toronto Blue Jays could hear some ribbing from their teammates in the clubhouse this week.<\/p>\n
The Jays’ season\u00a0begins Friday, giving players fresh off spring training the opportunity to go out and enjoy their free time around the city. Both Clement and Springer chose to do that by taking in some Toronto Maple Leafs action on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n
The duo apparently brought some luck to the Leafs, who were able to pick up just their second win on home ice since returning from the Olympic break.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Yes, it’s been an embarrassing stretch for the Leafs, but on Wednesday, it was Clement and Springer who may have been a little red in the cheeks. That’s because, before the game even got underway, an usher had to inform the two that they were sitting in the wrong seats.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n Eventually, the two were able to find their correct seats and watch the Leafs squeak out a narrow 4-3 win.
