{"id":645391,"date":"2026-03-26T22:37:15","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T22:37:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/645391\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T22:37:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T22:37:15","slug":"dodgers-embrace-bad-guys-role-for-2026-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/645391\/","title":{"rendered":"Dodgers Embrace \u2018Bad Guys\u2019 Role for 2026 Season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Los Angeles Dodgers posted their Opening Day hype video today in which they embraced the role as the \u201cbad guys\u201d for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n<p>After back-to-back World Series wins and a payroll north of $400 million, many baseball fans are angry with the Los Angeles Dodgers.<\/p>\n<p>All offseason, and especially after they signed outfielder Kyle Tucker to a four-year, $240 million contract in January, fans alike have accused the Dodgers of \u201cruining\u201d baseball. <\/p>\n<p>The Dodgers, though, seem unbothered by this claim and instead are embracing their role as the villain for the new season.<\/p>\n<p>The Dodgers posted their Opening Day video to their X account that had the words \u201cBAD GUYS\u201d appear on screen in the first few seconds of the video.
