The Guardians returned to action last night with a 6-4 win over a good team in the Seattle Mariners.<\/p>\n

I recapped the game here<\/a>. Tanner Bihee exited after 78 pitches with shoulder inflammation. He\u2019ll be re-evaluated on Saturday, but that sounds like an IL stint to me.<\/p>\n

Expect plenty of national attention for Chase DeLauter if he continues to do anything like his first game. Zack Meisel focused in on him in his recap<\/a>. I liked the Guardians\u2019 lineup from Vogt, but I\u2019d have lifted Angel Martinez for CJ Kayfus to face the RHP Martinez saw in his second at-bat.<\/p>\n

Zack Meisel wrote an incredibly good piece<\/a> on Jose Ramirez, the Guardians and another season of hope.<\/p>\n

The Guardians play the Mariners again tonight at 9:45PM ET. Gavin Williams vs. George Kirby.<\/p>\n
