Rebilas-Imagn Images<\/p>\n<p>As a defender, he can line up in the infield or outfield, still providing quality range and a good glove that will rarely make mistakes. <\/p>\n<p>However, his bat has been on the decline since 2024, posting an OPS+ of 71 and 55 over the last two years. <\/p>\n<p>Taylor battled a broken arm in 2025 as well, though he should be fully healthy for the start of the 2026 season if the front office needs a veteran player who can provide serviceable contributions. <\/p>\n<p>He went the entire offseason unsigned until the start of the season, though Taylor was never expected to stop playing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOh no, I\u2019m still playing,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/jp\/podcast\/chris-taylor-1-23-26\/id1251291132?i=1000746425554&amp;l=en-US\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Taylor <\/a>said on Dodger Talk with David Vassegh. \u201cDon\u2019t pull the cord on me yet, Vassegh.
