That’s what happens when the New York Yankees<\/a>‘ 6-foot-7 superstar launches another home run. He moves up the all-time MLB home run record list just a bit more.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Judge homered for the second time in as many games. This one gave him 370 for his career.<\/p>\n

With 370 career home runs, Judge is tied for 83rd all time. He’s knotted with Brooklyn Dodgers legend Gil Hodges.<\/p>\n

Hodges actually then spent time with the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a>, and with the New York Mets<\/a> at the end of his career, but he was a beloved figure for “Dem Bums” in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Hodges would’ve likely hit some more home runs if he didn’t miss two years to serve in the military during World War II, as well.<\/p>\n

To emphasize Judge’s pacing, though, he reached 370 homers in just more than 5,000 plate appearances. Hodges had more than 8,000.<\/p>\n

Judge is coming up on his teammate next. Paul Goldschmidt ranks 82nd all-time with 372 career home runs. Unless Goldy can hit some more here soon, Judge will be right on his tail in a hurry.<\/p>\n

Sometime sooner rather than later, people are going to start calculating when Judge can get to 500 homers. It’s only a few seasons away if he keeps up some of the prodigious power he’s had throughout his career.<\/p>\n

There have been a lot of special Yankees sluggers. And each time he takes the field, Judge pushes himself even more into that conversation of all-time greats.<\/p>\n
