The New York Yankees<\/a> and San Francisco Giants<\/a> have been battling it out over the past few days, and we got to hear Barry Bonds speak about how he felt about the Yankees and some of the top players on their roster. Of course, that allowed the greatest hitter of all time to speak about the current best hitter and baseball in Aaron Judge.<\/p>\n

While he had nothing but great things to say about the Yankees’ captain, it was more than just him being a good baseball player.<\/p>\n

Bonds said that Judge isn\u2019t just one of the most dominant hitters in baseball, but the kind of player every team wants to build around.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want to talk about team, that\u2019s the man I want on my team. If you want to talk about character, that\u2019s the man I want on my team,\u201d Bonds said. \u201cOn that field, I was probably the best teammate you would ever have. I took more walks for my team. Got on base for my team. And that\u2019s what baseball is about\u2026 Aaron Judge brings that to his team every day. Year in and year out.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Bond says things like this, it’s almost unfair to say what he’s saying isn’t true. If we look at his numbers, there’s simply not a player who has ever done anything close to him. From walks, home runs, and much more, Bonds knows a thing or two about hitting.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s swinging in at the highest level or being a good teammate, Judge has really done a great job being the captain of such a storied organization.<\/p>\n
