(Photo by Dustin Satloff\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Earlier this week, the Twins made a roster move by signing Drew Smith to a minor league deal.<\/p>\n Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic wrote (on March 29):<\/a> \u201cTwins signed veteran relievers John Brebbia<\/a> and Drew Smith to minor league deals. They\u2019ll join Triple-A St. Paul\u2019s bullpen.<\/p>\n Brebbia is 35, with 378 innings across eight MLB<\/a> seasons.<\/p>\n Smith is 32, with 196 innings across six MLB seasons. (Photo by Aaron Doster\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Smith was picked in the third round of the 2015 MLB Draft.<\/p>\n He last pitched for the Mets during the 2024 season.<\/p>\n That year, he went 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA in 19 games.<\/p>\n Ryan Shenker of TheNatsReport wrote (on March 28):<\/a> \u201cDrew Smith had a perfect ERA for the #Nationals in Spring Training.
