Smith was recently designated for assignment by Detroit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/clay_snowden2\/status\/2038771762096230708\" rel=\"nofollow\">Clay Snowden:<\/a> \u201cI wasn\u2019t the biggest Dylan Smith guy, but sending him out for cash considerations feels odd. Clearing 40 man spots is getting harder and harder, but the bullpen isn\u2019t exactly \u201cset\u201d. Smith was drafted in the third round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Tigers. He spent four seasons in the Tigers organization finishing with a 13-14 record and a 3.92 ERA in 78 games and 222.2 IP.
