Tony Vitello got his first win as an MLB manger in Monday night’s series opener against the San Diego Padres. It is also the first win for the SF Giants in the 2026 season. The Giants needed it badly after a brutal first series against the New York Yankees and it feels even better coming against a Padres team that has dominated the Giants in recent seasons.<\/p>\n
To celebrate the win, the Giants showered Vitello in what sounds like whatever was in the visiting club house.
