{"id":656563,"date":"2026-04-01T12:38:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:38:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/656563\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:38:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:38:18","slug":"bryan-reynolds-moves-up-pirates-all-time-home-run-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/656563\/","title":{"rendered":"Bryan Reynolds Moves Up Pirates All-Time Home Run List"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"inline-text-0\" class=\"mt-[18px] md:mt-0 mb-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6g\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 Bryan Reynolds is the longest-tenured player on the Pittsburgh Pirates and he is starting to see his efforts on the statsheet.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-1\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6j\">Reynolds hit a solo home run in Pirates&#8217; 8-3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/mlb\/pirates\/onsi\/news\/pittsburgh-pirates-unleash-power-win-cincinnati-reds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">win<\/a> over the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park on March 31, marking the 139th of his career, moving him up the all-time home runs list in franchise history.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6m\">That home run tied him now tied with outfielder Jason Bay (2003-08) for the ninth-most home runs in Pirates history. He was previously tied for 10th-most all-time with Hall of Fame second baseman Bill <a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/mlb\/pirates\/onsi\/news\/pittsburgh-pirates-hall-of-fame-2b-bill-mazeroski-dies-at-89\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mazeroski<\/a> (1956-72), with 138 home runs.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-3\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6p\">Reynolds took a 92.8 mph four-seam fastball in on the hands from Reds left-handed starting pitcher Brandon Williamson and sent it 106.1 mph off the bat and 417 feet, giving the Pirates a 5-1 lead in the top of the third inning.
