This was the case last week when he rang up 11 A\u2019s batters on Opening Night, and I\u2019m expecting a similar outcome this afternoon against the Colorado Rockies<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Rockies batted just .133 against the splitter last season with a MLB-worst 41.5% strikeout rate, including striking out eight times against Gausman in his lone start against them.<\/p>\n

Gausman had a 34% K-rate with his splitter last season and a 72.7% rate in his last outing vs the A\u2019s.<\/p>\n
