PALMDALE \u2014 Quartz Hill junior pitcher Parker White pitched a no-hitter on Wednesday in the Royals\u2019 13-0, five-inning victory over host Palmdale.\u00a0<\/p>\n
White faced 16 batters and used just 54 pitches (38 strikes) to complete the feat. He struck out four batters and did not issue a walk.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Falcons (4-10, 1-4 Golden League) had just one runner, who reached on an error.\u00a0<\/p>\n
White\u2019s earned-run average is now at 1.91 for the season.<\/p>\n
He also helped himself out at the plate as he finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored.<\/p>\n
Seth Humphreys was also 3-for-4 for the Royals (9-6, 3-2 GL) with two RBIs, a run scored and three stolen bases, while Cole Gregory finished 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and two runs and Zach Dizon was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs, two runs scored and two stolen bases.<\/p>\n
Quartz Hill\u2019s Marley Castaneda added a hit and two RBIs, while Kayden Smoot hit a double, drove in a run and scored two runs.<\/p>\n
Palmdale starting pitcher Ivan Roberto Cisneros allowed 10 runs, seven earned, on nine hits and four walks with two strikeouts. Julian Espinoza pitched 1.1 innings of relief, allowing three runs, one earned, on four hits with no walks.<\/p>\n
