After signing star free agents Edwin D\u00edaz and Kyle Tucker this offseason, the Dodgers in this year\u2019s draft have the lowest bonus pool in MLB and their lowest bonus pool in the 15 years of the slotting system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">\u201cThe depth of our system put us in a position where, while the cost is still meaningful, it wasn\u2019t as significant. We <a href=\"https:\/\/www.truebluela.com\/los-angeles-dodgers-prospects\/109181\/baseball-america-2026-top-100-quintero-depaula-sirota-hope\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">have a very strong system up top<\/a>,\u201d Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said in January. \u201cBut even more than that, I think the depth of our system allows us this one year to have our food budget for the draft meetings exceed our signing bonuses.
