The Nats are scheduled to start Miles Mikolas.

This will be Sheehan’s second start of the season. His first didn’t go well.

On March 27, the team’s second game, Sheehan faced off against the Arizona Diamondbacks, throwing 3.1 innings.

He gave up five hits and four runs, all of which were earned. He also walked two batters and struck out six.

In that first start, the Dodgers’ offense bailed Sheehan out in a 5-4 win. This time, though, could be different.

How is the Dodgers’ Offense in 2026?

The story of the team so far this season is the lack of offensive production.

In Wednesday’s 4-1 loss to the Cleveland Guardians, only center fielder Andy Pages was a true force at the plate, garnering three of the team’s five total hits.

It continues a torrid pace for Pages, who has nine hits so far this year. No other Dodger has more than five.

After a tough playoffs at the plate — and an especially poor 1-for-16 performance in the World Series — Pages focused on his offense, and the results are showing.

Baseball Savant has Pages’ wOBA at .463, which is in the top 8% of the MLB.

Making that even more remarkable is that Pages has yet to walk this season.

Pages’ improved offense complements his elite defense. Baseball Savant has him in the 90th percentile or better in all fielding categories, including arm strength in the 98th percentile.

Manager Dave Roberts said earlier this year that he’s noticed a difference in Pages.

“(This) is certainly a big confidence boost,” Roberts said. “Coming into this spring, he was in great shape, and his mindset was in a good spot. I’m sure that fire, that fuel, to not relinquish his position later in the season is something that motivates him.”

Stars like Freddie Freeman, though, aren’t overly concerned with slow starts by the other Dodgers.

“Our offense is inevitable,” Freeman said after Wednesday’s game. “Hopefully, maybe tomorrow, with an off-day, the coldness will go away and we’ll heat up.”

LA Baseball Report

Get the app for faster news

GET ×

Los Angeles Dodgers fans may have to alter their schedule if they want to watch their team in…

[2398
5,57,4,415,414,71,4222
0":"post-659700","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-washington-nationals","8":"tag-baseball","9":"tag-los-angeles-dodgers","10":"tag-mlb","11":"tag-nationals","12":"tag-washington","13":"tag-washington-nationals","14":"tag-washingtonnationals
["GET
