Speaking of Homer, as with so many entertaining things, the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ahkmabad\/status\/2039792275589329054\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Simpsons did it first<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The team also unveiled a new exhibit at Globe Life to honor the 30th anniversary of the 1996 American League West champions, the first team in franchise history to advance to the postseason. Game-used items and line-up cards will be exhibited in two display cases highlighting the events of the &#8217;96 season, including items from Juan Gonzalez, Will Clark, Rusty Greer, Mark McLemore and manager Johnny Oates.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The cases will be displayed for all Rangers home games at the Southeast Entrance lobby of Globe Life Field and will also be a stop for selected public tours of the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The Rangers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/sports\/mlb\/rangers\/texas-rangers-opening-day-roster\/287-127de2fd-e591-4034-b8ea-8a8163cb9388\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">open their home schedule Friday against the Cincinnati Reds<\/a>.
