Starting 1-5 on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers and the Miami Marlins, manager Will Venable said his team \u201cneeds to be better.\u201d <\/p>\n

Despite being back home, the White Sox welcome in some tough American League East opponents. The White Sox open a three-game series on Friday versus the reigning American League Champions, the Toronto Blue Jays (4-2). The Baltimore Orioles come to town on Monday (3-3, April 6-8). <\/p>\n

The Blue Jays\u2019 starting rotation has been hit hard with injuries. Right-hander Cody Ponce sprained his right ACL on Monday and will miss time.
The Blue Jays were already without right-handers Trey Yasavage (right shoulder impingement), Jose Berrios (right elbow stress fracture), and Shane Bieber (right elbow inflammation) to begin the year. <\/p>\n

Maybe now that they\u2019re back at home and the Blue Jays are down some of their better arms, the White Sox could finish the home stand at .500.<\/p>\n
