On Friday night, the Atlanta Braves<\/a> will be in Phoenix to play the Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Braves are coming off a 17-2 win over Arizona on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Atlanta Braves Announce Trade With Los Angeles Angels\"\"<\/p>\n

Before the game, the Braves announced that they had made a trade with the Los Angeles Angels.<\/p>\n

The Braves wrote:<\/a> \u201cThe #Braves today acquired RHP V\u00edctor Mederos from the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for international bonus pool money, and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett. To make room on the 40-man roster, the club transferred RHP AJ Smith-Shawver<\/a> to the 60-day injured list.\u201d<\/p>\n

The #Braves<\/a> today acquired RHP V\u00edctor Mederos from the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for international bonus pool money, and optioned him to Triple-A Gwinnett. To make room on the 40-man roster, the club transferred RHP AJ Smith-Shawver to the 60-day injured list.<\/p>\n

Mederos has played 12 games for the Angels across the last three seasons.<\/p>\n

He is 0-3 with an 8.53 ERA.<\/p>\n
