{"id":661555,"date":"2026-04-03T21:37:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T21:37:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/661555\/"},"modified":"2026-04-03T21:37:23","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T21:37:23","slug":"son-of-colorado-rockies-tv-voice-joins-radio-broadcast-team-story","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/661555\/","title":{"rendered":"Son Of Colorado Rockies\u2019 TV Voice Joins Radio Broadcast Team. | Story"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>iHeartMedia news\/talk KOA (850 AM and\u00a0FM translator K231BQ at 94.1)\u00a0Denver, the flagship station of Major League Baseball\u2019s Colorado Rockies, has announced that Zach Goodman will join the KOA Rockies Radio Network broadcast team starting April 4.<\/p>\n<p>Goodman, who will be in the KOA broadcast booth alongside the 25-year\u00a0\u201cVoice of the Colorado Rockies\u201d Jack Corrigan, is\u00a0the son of Drew Goodman, the TV voice of the Rockies since 2002.\u00a0KOA has been the Rockies\u2019 radio flagship since the team\u2019s first MLB season in 1993.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining the Rockies, Goodman served as the radio voice of\u00a0the Arizona Diamondbacks\u2019 double-A minor league team, the Amarillo Sod Poodles in Texas, for the past two seasons. He also handled basketball and volleyball play-by-play while at Webster University in St. Louis, where he was also the starting catcher for the college\u2019s baseball team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was immediately impressed by Zach\u2019s natural, versatile talent first hearing him nearly two years ago,\u201d KOA and Rockies Radio Program Director Dave Tepper says. \u201cRockies fans will appreciate his passionate, descriptive style, fueled by years of playing college baseball, alongside one of the great voices of the game, Jack Corrigan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Goodman adds, \u201cRockies baseball is in my blood. I\u2019m excited to be a part of KOA, the station that\u2019s been connecting this team with fans for generations.
