Daniel Susac<\/a>\u2019s first MLB start already was turning into a dream night Thursday at Oracle Park, but for some of his family members, the emotions became almost too much to handle.<\/p>\n

The Giants catcher collected three hits and reached base four times in San Francisco\u2019s 7-2 win over the New York Mets<\/a>, becoming the first Giant to reach base four times in his first career start since Kevin Frandsen<\/a> in 2006. <\/p>\n

But while Susac starred on the field, one of the most memorable moments of the night came from the stands.<\/p>\n

A large Susac family contingent was on hand for the milestone, and cameras caught the group erupting as Daniel recorded the first hit of his big-league career. The celebration quickly made the rounds online, with the family\u2019s excitement matching the magnitude of the moment.<\/p>\n

The night only got louder from there.<\/p>\n

Susac singled on the first pitch he saw in the majors, then singled again on the second pitch he saw, and later added a third hit to cap off a standout debut. That final knock proved to be a little too much for Susac’s young nephew.<\/p>\n

The performance itself made the night even sweeter for the Susac family, which has deep ties to the Giants organization. Daniel\u2019s older brother, Andrew Susac<\/a>, played for San Francisco in 2015 and backed up Buster Posey<\/a> during the Giants\u2019 championship era.<\/p>\n

By the end of the night, Susac had not only delivered one of the best debut starts in recent Giants memory, but it also helped create a viral family scene that made the occasion even more unforgettable.<\/p>\n
