The first game is set for 1:10 p.m. The second game will follow at 6:10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams completed batting practice on Friday before the official announcement of the postponement.<\/p>\n<p>A <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KSHB41\/status\/2040180071126782187\">severe thunderstorm watch<\/a> was initiated for Kansas City and surrounding areas. The looming forecast includes a chance for high winds, hail and a possibility of a tornado.<\/p>\n<p>Friday\u2019s game was initially scheduled for 6:45 p.m. Central. It will be moved to Saturday night as the second contest of the doubleheader. Saturday\u2019s originally scheduled game \u2014 slated for 3:10 p.m. \u2014 will be moved up as the first game, at 1:10 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The Royals will start right-hander Luinder Avila in the first game on Saturday. He was recalled from Triple-A Omaha to make a spot start as Michael Wacha is battling an illness.<\/p>\n<p>Seth Lugo (1-0, 0.00 ERA) will start game 2. The Royals veteran right-hander tossed 6 and 1\/3 scoreless innings against the Atlanta Braves on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Both games of the doubleheader will be broadcast on Royals.TV. Fans with tickets to Friday\u2019s game will be able to attend game 2 on Saturday. An exchange of tickets will not be required to attend the rescheduled contest.<\/p>\n<p>The Brewers will keep their same rotation in order. Right-hander Chad Patrick (0-0, 2.08 ERA) will oppose Avila. Fellow righty Brandon Sproat (0-0, 21.00 ERA) is set to pitch game 2 opposite Lugo.<\/p>\n<p>The Royals began their six-game homestand against the Minnesota Twins on Monday.
