productive day on the road on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The Saints defeated Rochester Institute of Technology, 20-8 and 7-1, to sweep a Liberty League doubleheader played at Towers Field.<\/p>\n<p>St. Lawrence won a slugfest in the first game as it totaled 21 hits, as Jack Finnegan went 4-for-5, including a triple, a double and drove in three runs, Ethan Harris homered, singled and knocked in five runs and John Donnellan homered, doubled and plated two runs.<\/p>\n<p>Also for the Saints, Gabe Albertson homered and scored three runs, Mike Siano and Max Cloutier each went 3-for-4, including a double, with Siano driving in two and Willie Landman doubled, singles and drove in a pair of runs.<\/p>\n<p>Nolan Widrick, a South Jefferson graduate, singled twice and knocked in three runs for St. Lawrence in a game shortened to seven innings because of a mercy rule.<\/p>\n<p>Joshua Polumbo pitched two scoreless innings in relief of starter Liam Hickey, striking out two and walking two, to record the win for the Saints.<\/p>\n<p>Jake Bentivenga doubled and singled for the Yellowjackets and Carlos Barajas doubled and plated two runs.<\/p>\n<p>In the nightcap for the Saints, Finnegan singled three times, Eddie Morrissey tripled and drove in a pair of runs and Landman and Albertson both singled twice, with Landman knocking in two runs.<\/p>\n<p>David Zuhlsdorf, a Canton native, pitched six innings, allowing one run on three hits and five walks, while striking out three to post the win for St. Lawrence (9-8, 4-3).<\/p>\n<p>Michael Flyzik, a Lyme graduate, pitched three scoreless innings, striking out three while yielding one hit and two walks to record his second save of the season for the Saints.<\/p>\n<p>Sammy Besztery tripled and singled to lead Rochester (8-13, 1-7) in the second game.<\/p>\n<p>The Golden Knights managed to generate just four hits on the day as they dropped their home season opener to the Statesmen in a Liberty League game in Potsdam.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Lockwood recorded the win in relief for Hobart (18-6, 6-0), striking out two while giving up just one hit through 3 2\/3 innings of work and Max Friedlander would record his third save of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Will Jones doubled and knocked in three runs for the Statesmen and Sean Garvin went 3-for-4 at the plate.<\/p>\n<p>Starter CJ Kanick was dealt his first loss of the year for Clarkson (10-9, 2-5) he allowed five runs on six hits and two while striking out two in 3 1\/3 innings.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Figliolino doubled and drove in two runs for the Golden Knights at the plate.<\/p>\n<p>SUNY CORTLAND 11, SUNY CANTON 1 (8)<\/p>\n<p>Jack McFerran homered and Nolan Smith went 2-for-3 and drove in three runs to pace the Red Dragons past the Kangaroos to win a SUNYAC game in Cortland.<\/p>\n<p>Lucas Granger, Trey McGowan and Anthony Carlo each singled twice, with Granger driving in two runs for SUNY Cortland (15-7-1, 7-0).<\/p>\n<p>Warren Miller pitched five shutout innings, yielding one hit and walking two while striking out four to post the win for the Red Dragons.<\/p>\n<p>AJ Campi, Chris McLean and Derek Maldonado each singled for SUNY Canton (8-11, 0-4).<\/p>\n<p>SUNY CORTLAND 21, SUNY POTSDAM 4<\/p>\n<p>Sean Kavanagh totaled three goals and four assists as the Red Dragons rolled to victory against the Bears to win a SUNYAC game played in Potsdam.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Stoecker contributed four goals and an assist for SUNY Cortland (6-5, 2-0) and Drew Williamee, Eli Volk, Colton Hornquist and James Devine each scored a pair of goals.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Charlie Falowski made five saves to post the win for the Red Dragons.<\/p>\n<p>Billy Kozloski provided three goals to lead SUNY Potsdam (5-4, 0-2) and teammate Saka Thompson finished with 15 saves in goal.<\/p>\n<p>SUNY NEW PALTZ 17, SUNY CANTON 5<\/p>\n<p>Colin Cleary scored five goals and Killian Yombor supplied four goals as the Hawks cruised past the Kangaroos to prevail in a SUNYAC game in Canton.<\/p>\n<p>Finn Smith contributed two goals and three assists for SUNY New Paltz (3-7, 1-1), Blake Lyons tallied two goals and an assist and Jack McLaughlin scored a pair of goals.<\/p>\n<p>Starting goalie Jacob Kenny made seven saves to net the win for the Hawks.<\/p>\n<p>Brady Frost scored two goals and assisted on another for SUNY Canton (2-4, 0-2) and Charles Grandaw tallied a pair of goals.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Hayden Todd made 13 stops in taking the loss for the Kangaroos and teammate Garritt Palmer came on to make three saves.<\/p>\n<p>Christina Guanci scored a man-up goal with three minutes and three seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Garnet Chargers to victory against the Saints in a Liberty League game played in Schenectady.<\/p>\n<p>Guanci totaled four goals and an assist on the day and Gillian Joseph and Lana Mickelson each provided two goals and two assists for Union (4-4, 3-0).<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Sydney Widlitz made eight saves to register the win for the Garnet Chargers.<\/p>\n<p>Cate Rathnam scored four goals and assisted on two others for St. Lawrence (4-6, 1-4) and Tallis Tarbell and Jessica, each tallied a goal and two assists.<\/p>\n<p>Lily Stanton scored the tying goal with 4:56 left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 10-all, with LaPlaca assisting.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Zoe Froimovitz finished with 13 saves for the Saints.<\/p>\n<p>Lily Hudner generated four goals and Julia Cafasso and Allison Brewer each scored three goals as the Thoroughbreds outlasted the Golden Knights to win a Liberty League game in Saratoga Springs.<\/p>\n<p>Lauren Hughey contributed two goals and an assist for Skidmore (6-6, 2-3) and Charlotte Taylor supplied a pair of goals.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Tatum Walsh totaled eight saves to register the win for the Thoroughbreds.<\/p>\n<p>Gabby Cranfield produced four goals and three assists for Clarkson (8-3, 3-2) and teammates Karli Scherpf, Sydney Nakas and Cassin Makenna each scored a pair of goals.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Riley Donovan made eight saves in being dealt the loss for the Golden Knights.<\/p>\n<p>SUNY FREDONIA 14, SUNY CANTON 6<\/p>\n<p>Ava Bodnar scored a team-best three goals, but the Kangaroos were beaten by the Blue Devils in a SUNYAC game played in Canton.<\/p>\n<p>Mieley Baran scored six goals and assisted on two others to lead SUNY Fredonia (5-7, 1-3) and Katie O\u2019Brien scored three goals of her own.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Ashleigh Manns totaled eight saves to post the win for the Blue Devils.<\/p>\n<p>Kate Whitley recorded game-highs of five caused turnovers and four ground balls for SUNY Canton (3-6, 1-4) and Caroline Nappi recorded three assists.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Laura Falandys finished with eight saves for the Kangaroos.<\/p>\n<p>BUFFALO STATE 21, SUNY POTSDAM 5<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa Willick generated 10 points, including scoring eight goals, and Emilee Josker totaled five goals and four assists as the Bengals cruised past the Bears to prevail in a SUNYAC game played in Buffalo.<\/p>\n<p>Kira Grzechowiak contributed five goals for Buffalo State (8-2, 3-0) and Kaylee Cadez scored three goals, while Bri Struck assisted on four goals.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Moira Penot made seven saves to register the win for the Bengals.<\/p>\n<p>Jayla Thompson supplied a pair of goals for SUNY Potsdam (2-8, 0-4) and Auna Shadle tallied a goal and two assists.<\/p>\n<p>Goalie Olivia Minarich made five saves for the Bears.<\/p>\n<p>SUNY CORTLAND 9-9, SUNY POTSDAM 0-2<\/p>\n<p>Gianna Endieveri scattered three hits and struck out six to record the shutout as the Red Dragons won the first game en route to sweeping a SUNYAC doubleheader played in Potsdam.<\/p>\n<p>Katie Stork went 3-for-4 and scored two runs while collecting an RBI for SUNY Cortland in the opener.<\/p>\n<p>Payton St. Clair doubled for SUNY Cortland.<\/p>\n<p>In the second game, Olivia DiSalvo threw five scoreless innings while giving up just two hits and striking out five to post the win for the Red Dragons.<\/p>\n<p>Maggie Cummings doubled and singled, Shannon Scotto singled twice and Shelby LaMont doubled, with each driving in two runs and Stork tripled for SUNY Cortland (10-5, 2-0).<\/p>\n<p>St. Clair went 2-for-3 at the plate for SUNY Potsdam (7-9, 0-2) and Emily Birmingham singled in a
