Extra scary, especially when the second one does indeed hit the batter.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what happened to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/los-angeles-angels\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Los Angeles Angels<\/a> superstar Mike Trout on Friday night against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/seattle-mariners\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seattle Mariners<\/a> and right-handed pitcher Bryan Woo.<\/p>\n<p>It was the first inning, Trout up with one out and none on. In a 1-0 count, Woo&#8217;s fastball came dangerously close to Trout&#8217;s head.<\/p>\n<p>MORE:\u00a0<a target=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/ca\/mlb\/los-angeles-dodgers\/news\/2-mlb-players-named-max-muncy-mind-blowing-things-common-dodgers\/23ff57d286098cef7421893b\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Explaining the absurdity of 2 MLB players named Max Muncy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then on the 2-0 pitch, Woo lost it even more up and in, and Trout was hit.<\/p>\n<p>The batting helmet seemed to save Trout from further damage, but he was definitely annoyed.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Bryan Woo\u2019s first pitch to Mike Trout was up and in and near Mike Trout\u2019s head. His second pitch to Trout drilled him up high.
