{"id":663174,"date":"2026-04-04T18:11:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-04T18:11:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/663174\/"},"modified":"2026-04-04T18:11:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-04T18:11:13","slug":"giants-rookie-daniel-susac-goes-3-for-3-traumatizes-family-member-for-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/663174\/","title":{"rendered":"Giants Rookie Daniel Susac Goes 3-for-3, Traumatizes Family Member For Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m genuinely not even joking when I ask, is that kid okay?<\/p>\n<p>PublishedApril 4, 2026 1:04 PM EDT\u2022UpdatedApril 4, 2026 1:04 PM EDT<\/p>\n<p>FacebookTwitterEmailCopy Link<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">San Francisco Giants rookie Daniel Susac had a hell of a debut at the plate on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Before he got doused with Gatorade \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/sports\/san-francisco-giants-reporters-laptop-gets-decimated-postgame-gatorade-bath\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">and got his local reporter&#8217;s laptop obliterated in the process<\/a> \u2013 Susac had a three-for-three night with a walk thrown in for good measure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">As you would expect, there were plenty of family members in attendance to see Susac&#8217; perfect start to his MLB career, and they were all understandably fired up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Well, almost all of them, anyway.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">One young family member \u2013 reportedly a cousin, from what I could find on social media \u2013 was less than thrilled with his professional baseball playing relative and the ensuing ruckus in the stands.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/sports\/cubs-fans-seen-working-remotely-stands-wrigley-during-day-game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">READ: Cubs Fans Seen Working Remotely In The Stands At Wrigley During Day Game<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Oh, man! I&#8217;m genuinely not even joking when I ask, is that kid okay?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">And if you didn&#8217;t get a close enough look, Jomboy was able to get some Zapruder Film quality close-ups of the young fan getting absolutely ragdolled.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outkick.com\/sports\/konnor-griffin-mlb-debut-pittsburgh-pirates-record-contract-pnc-park-highlights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">READ: Konnor Griffin Delivers In MLB Debut After Signing Record-Breaking Contract With Pittsburgh Pirates<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Look at the sheer terror on this poor kid&#8217;s face.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I want to feel bad, but it&#8217;s also just so funny. And also, whoever that lady is next to him doesn&#8217;t seem to be too concerned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">We all remember our first trip to the ballpark, and for most of us, it was a pleasant experience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Mine was a Marlins game when I was four years old. This was back when they used to play at the Dolphins&#8217; stadium, and I even got a free hat for being one of the first 10,000 fans in attendance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">My point is, it rocked! And I&#8217;m sure most of you also have positive memories of your first trip to the ballpark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">This poor kid, on the other hand, has been absolutely shellshocked.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Going back to Oracle Park for our young Giants fan will be like a Marine from World War II returning to Iwo Jima.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">I have yet to take my little guy to a baseball game, but now I know what NOT to do.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">It&#8217;s nice of the Susac family to lead by example, even if that example is that you shouldn&#8217;t give your six-year-old late term shaken baby syndrome.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Oh yeah, and congrats to Daniel!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Hell of a start, kid! Just don&#8217;t be offended when your cousin doesn&#8217;t want to come see you play anymore.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:left;\">Nothing personal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I&#8217;m genuinely not even joking when I ask, is that kid okay?
