After starting the season with seven straight road games, the Los Angeles Angles finally got to play in front of their home fans on Friday.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately for them, that didn\u2019t change much as the Angels fell t0 3-5 following a 3-1 loss to the Seattle Mariners<\/a> in 10 innings. And the defeat wasn\u2019t the only unsettling part of the night for the team.<\/p>\n

Prior to first pitch, the Angels had an embarrassing moment occur during the national anthem<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The anthem singer tried to time the ending of the \u201cStar Spangled Banner\u201d with a military flyover, but what happened was several seconds of cringe that resulted in several fans flocking to social media to rip the team for the botched anthem moment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow. That anthem was terrible, who cares about the flyover, just end the damn thing,\u201d one fan scoffed.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo not only is winning not a priority but neither is the fly over\/anthem execution,\u201d another fan stated.<\/p>\n

\u201cSing the song and let the flyover be late. But no, you botched the anthem and the flyover was still off. Instead of 1 clown, we now have 2,\u201d a third replied.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, leave it to the angels too fk it up \ud83d\ude02\ud83e\udef5\ud83c\udffc,\u201d one user quipped.<\/p>\n
