CLEVELAND \u2014 The Cleveland Guardians<\/a> have announced Saturday’s home game against the Chicago Cubs has been postponed due to weather concerns. The game will be rescheduled as part of a traditional doubleheader to be played on Sunday.<\/p>\n The first game of Sunday’s doubleheader will begin at 1:10 p.m., with gates opening at noon. Technically, only fans with tickets to the April 5 game will be able to attend the doubleheader. Fans with tickets to the originally scheduled Sunday game can attend both games of the doubleheader and sit in the same seat.<\/p>\n However, fans will be able to use the full value of their tickets from Saturday’s game to exchange into one of 51 designated games \u2014 including Saturday’s doubleheader \u2014 through their\u00a0My Tickets account<\/a>. Fans who want to exchange their Saturday tickets and get into Sunday’s doubleheader must make the exchange by noon on Sunday. Exchanges cannot be made on the MLB Ballpark app.<\/p>\n According to the WKYC Weather Team, showers and storms are expected to develop<\/a> and move across the Cleveland area between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m., with a cold front passing by closer to 9 p.m. Some storms could be on the strong-to-severe side. Heavy rain, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado are possible.<\/p>\n
