After hitting a solid 23 homers last season, Ian Happ<\/a> has gotten off to a great start in 2026 with three dingers in seven games.<\/p>\n

The Chicago Cubs<\/a> outfielder has just five hits so far, but the ball flies out of the park almost every time he makes contact. With Slade Cecconi taking the mound for the Cleveland Guardians<\/a>, I like Happ\u2019s chances of going long again.<\/p>\n

Cecconi was poor in his first start this season, giving up six hits, one homer, and six earned runs over just 4 1\/3 innings. The right-hander allowed 24 homers in 23 starts last year.<\/p>\n

Aaron Judge (+210)<\/p>\n

Aaron Judge<\/a> rolled to his third AL MVP award last year after hitting 53 homers with an MLB-best .688 slugging percentage.<\/p>\n

The New York Yankees<\/a> star has picked up right where he left off with three home runs through his first seven games, including a two-run bomb against the Miami Marlins<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Marlins send Chris Paddack to the mound today after he was lit up for eight hits, two home runs, and eight earned runs over four innings by the Chicago White Sox last Monday.<\/p>\n

A confident Judge and a shaky starter is a great recipe for a homer.<\/p>\n

Yordan Alvarez (+285)<\/p>\n

Last year was one to forget for Yordan Alvarez<\/a>, who hit just six dingers in 48 games due to a fracture in his hand. The Houston Astros<\/a> slugger is finally back to full health, and he\u2019s already gone yard three times in nine games.<\/p>\n

Alvarez has been smashing the baseball with six extra-base hits, a .423 batting average, and an .885 slugging percentage.<\/p>\n

Athletics starter Jacob Lopez was pretty bad in his first appearance of the year, allowing six hits, five walks, and three earned runs over four innings. <\/p>\n
