The Pittsburgh Pirates placed infielder Jared Triolo on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a right knee patellar tendon injury. The move is retroactive to April 4, as the injury occurred in the home opener.<\/p>\n
Triolo was batting .217 (5 for 23) with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in six games for the Pirates. He started five games at shortstop before the promotion of No. 1 prospect Konnor Griffin, then started at third base in the home opener. Triolo did not play Saturday.<\/p>\n
Outfielder Billy Cook has been recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis, where he went 3 for 9 with a home run and two RBIs in two games.<\/p>\n
Cook made the Pirates\u2019 Opening Day roster and scored a run while appearing in three games from March 28-30 before being optioned to Indianapolis on Thursday to make room for Griffin.<\/p>\n

So that was nice (to) see some live pitching, get out and play full nine innings and everything, just getting back in the swing of that.
