The Atlanta Braves<\/a> are off to a hot start this season, with a record of 6-3 and sitting at the top of the NL East. However, just because they\u2019re the leaders early in the season, doesn\u2019t mean they can rely on what they have.<\/p>\n

They still have no starting pitching depth, and have doubled down on their hitting. So, FanSided\u2019s Mark Powell<\/a> proposes that if that\u2019s their decision, they need to trade for Los Angeles Angels<\/a> breakout star Jo Adell.<\/p>\n

Braves get: OF Jo Adell<\/p>\n

Angels get: MLB No. 97 overall prospect RHP Didier Fuentes, ATL No. 11 prospect RHP Luke Sinnard, ATL No. 13 prospect OF Conor Essenburg<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Angels are going nowhere fast, and Adell’s trade value is at an all-time high. A contender like the Braves \u2013 a team in need of corner outfield help after Jurickson Profar’s suspension \u2013 could be a natural fit\u2026While this trade looks like a lot on paper for Atlanta, it’s the cost of doing business for a player the star caliber of Adell\u2026The cost of three top-15 prospects in Atlanta’s system, which is not particularly highly-thought of, is what it’ll take to get this deal done,\u201d Powell wrote.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This season, Adell is slashing .242\/.286\/.242\/.528 with two RBI. However, last season he slammed 37 dingers, and this season, he\u2019s shown how great a glove he is in the outfield<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Powell noted that if the Braves did this, it would be the final nail in the coffin for Jurickson Profar, who was suspended for 162 games<\/a> after failing a second PED test. With a possible outfield of Adell, Ronald Acuna Jr., and Michael Harris II, hopefully the Braves get to making a proposal right away.<\/p>\n
