Mason Miller is on the most absurdly dominant run of pitching in MLB history.<\/p>\n

The San Diego Padres<\/a>‘ superstar relief pitcher allowed two runs on August 5, 2025. He hasn’t allowed a run since.<\/p>\n

That includes the postseason, and the World Baseball Classic.<\/p>\n

Miller did get scored upon in Spring Training, but that seriously doesn’t count.<\/p>\n

Just his regular season stats since then are absurd.<\/p>\n

Miller has had 26 outings and 28.1 innings pitched.<\/p>\n

He’s allowed just four hits to go with the no runs.<\/p>\n

He has 61 strikeouts, which works out to 19.4 strikeouts per nine innings.<\/p>\n

And his WHIP in that stretch is 0.49.<\/p>\n

The Padres knew Miller was one of the best relievers on the planet when they traded for him from the Athletics<\/a>, but last season, they made him their setup man rather than upset the rhythm of their bullpen further.<\/p>\n

With the closer job open for this season, Miller stepped right in. It was a clearly logical decision.<\/p>\n

At this point, there’s no one better. Miller is on a totally other planet.<\/p>\n
