One of the most anticipated matchups of the 2026 MLB season comes early, as the Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> visit the Toronto Blue Jays<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

The rematch of the epic 2025 World Series will unfold in Toronto, where Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the Dodgers pulled out a pair of narrow wins in Games 6 and 7 to repeat as champions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After getting the win in relief in the Dodgers’ 11-inning Game 7 clincher a day after his Game 6 start, the World Series MVP Yamamoto is expected to get the ball Tuesday for the second game of this series ahead of countryman Shohei Ohtani<\/a>‘s start in the finale.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer and Co. are once again tasked with solving the Dodgers’ imposing staff, and the Jays’ pitchers with handling an even deeper L.A. lineup that added Kyle Tucker during the offseason. First among them is Max Scherzer, who will start Monday’s opener for Toronto.\u00a0<\/p>\n
