The advent of mobile ticketing has largely forced the paper ticket to go the way of landline phones, dial-up internet and other commonly used products that technology has phased out.<\/p>\n
One lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> fan is hoping the team can at least hear him out on being able to continue to print his tickets.<\/p>\n Click Here For More Sports Coverage On Foxnews.com<\/a><\/p>\n Errol Segal, 81, told NBC Los Angeles<\/a> on Friday the Dodgers told him he wouldn\u2019t be able to buy paper tickets for the entire season. He was able to buy some paper tickets on Thursday.<\/p>\n Segal told the station he doesn\u2019t know how to use a computer and only uses a flip phone<\/a>.<\/p>\n He told the station it wouldn\u2019t have been a major deal if he was a season-ticket holder for only a few years, but he said, he\u2019s been one for the last five decades.<\/p>\n Read On The Fox News App<\/a><\/p>\n Sen Eric Schmitt Pushes For Legislation To Tackle Rising Sports Ticket Costs<\/a><\/p>\n “If I had the tickets one year, five years, 10 years, that\u2019s another story,” he told the station. “Fifty years I\u2019ve had these tickets. They threw me under the bus.”<\/p>\n Segal said the team offered to buy his tickets back, but he didn\u2019t want to hear it.<\/p>\n Segal told the station he hoped the Dodgers would reconsider their stance.
