{"id":667024,"date":"2026-04-06T20:35:52","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T20:35:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/667024\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T20:35:52","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T20:35:52","slug":"rockies-are-mlbs-least-watchable-team-according-to-espn-analysis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/667024\/","title":{"rendered":"Rockies are MLB&#8217;s least watchable team according to ESPN analysis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/us\/mlb\/colorado-rockies\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Colorado Rockies<\/a> are one of the worst teams in all of Major League Baseball, which isn&#8217;t a surprise at all considering all of the struggles the team is going through right now.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re in the middle of a lengthy rebuild, and they don&#8217;t have very many fun young players on the roster like some other struggling teams have.<\/p>\n<p>With their current standing, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/story\/_\/id\/48403630\/mlb-2026-season-ranking-most-fun-teams-phillies-dodgers-mets-red-sox-yankees\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">David Scheonfield of ESPN<\/a> found that the Rockies&#8217; &#8220;Watchability Score&#8221; comes in as the lowest in the entire MLB, 50% worse than the second-worst scoring team in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/us\/mlb\/los-angeles-angels\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Los Angeles Angels<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rockies least watchable team in all of MLB.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;30. Colorado Rockies (4 points). Star power: 0. Young talent: 1. Baseball stuff: 1. Bonus (2): +1 since it can&#8217;t be worse than last year, +1 for fans still showing up to the park,&#8221; Schoenfield shared.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a brutal grade for the Rockies, as they score just four out of a possible 40-point scale. While most teams will fall well short of the total score, the Rockies coming in with just a &#8220;4&#8221; is a brutal score.<\/p>\n<p>The Angels scored (8) points, thanks to Mike Trout, Jo Adell, and a few other interesting players on the roster.<\/p>\n<p>More:\u00a0<a target=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sportingnews.com\/us\/mlb\/toronto-blue-jays\/news\/how-blue-jays-kazuma-okamoto-rockies-tomoyuki-sugano\/7b70e0363597c847e4ed4abb\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">How Blue Jays&#8217; Kazuma Okamoto is connected to Rockies&#8217; Tomoyuki Sugano<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, for the Rockies, their future isn&#8217;t the best, and the team is still marred in a very lengthy rebuild with seemingly no end in sight.<\/p>\n<p>There isn&#8217;t a fun prospect in the Majors right now, nor is there a superstar chasing some record, or even just a long-time beloved Rockie still on the roster.<\/p>\n<p>As Schoenfield wrote, &#8220;What kind of future is in store?&#8221; It&#8217;s a bleak situation for the Rockies.
