The train entered service 14 years after the Yankees first came into existence as the New York Highlanders.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-142376\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/55185656081_52081bb477_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\"  \/>The 1917 IRT Lo-V Nostalgia Train. Photo credit: MTA<\/p>\n<p>Those who were unable to board the Lo-V train had the opportunity to board the \u201cTrain of Many Colors,\u201d which took off from the same platform minutes later.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-142380\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/55185809873_0275107a3e_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\"  \/>The Train of Many Colors also brought fans to the stadium. Photo credit: MTA<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Nostalgia train rides, the MTA entertained fans at the Yankees-East 53rd Street station. Photo credit: MTA<\/p>\n<p>The MTA offers a variety of mass transportation options for Yankee fans to get to Yankee Stadium.
