After a man fell from a second\u2011level railing at Chase Field following a game, the Arizona Diamondbacks<\/a> said all safety measures were working as intended.<\/p>\n

The team said it had reviewed the fall<\/a> on April 1 and did not plan on making any changes to the stadium safety policies or designs.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll safety measures were working, are in compliance with code standards, and functioned properly,\u201d the team said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The man fell near the west entrance of Chase Field in downtown Phoenix as fans were leaving the ballpark after the Diamondbacks\u2019 beat the Detroit Tigers in a three-game series sweep.<\/p>\n

The man climbed onto a railing to take a photo, lost his balance and fell, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.<\/p>\n

He was injured and taken to a hospital. The Sheriff’s Office did not suspect foul play.<\/p>\n

The Diamondbacks said they were unable to provide an update on the man\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n
