According to Ari Alexander of 7News Boston WHDH, the Cardinals<\/a> made a trade with the Baltimore Orioles<\/a> (after Monday\u2019s game).<\/p>\n

Alexander wrote:<\/a> \u201cSource: The St. Louis #Cardinals are trading LHP Nick Raquet<\/a> to the Baltimore #Orioles.<\/p>\n

The Cardinals<\/a> DFA\u2019d Raquet, who threw two scoreless innings for them in 2025.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raquet was picked in the third round of the 2017 MLB<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n

In Triple-A (this season), he has gone<\/a> 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in two games.<\/p>\n

Bob Nightengale of USA Today wrote (on April 5):<\/a> \u201cThe St. Louis Cardinals<\/a> DFA left-handed pitcher Nick Raquet. Raquet made his MLB debut last year after coming out of retirement while working in finance. He posted a 2.24 ERA across three levels and opened this season at Triple-A Memphis.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cardinals are currently 5-5 in their first ten games of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n
