The Mets have games scheduled for nine straight days beginning Tuesday, opening the possibility they will deploy a six-man rotation for the first time this season. Sean Manaea, the sixth starter, was squeezed from the rotation as spring training concluded and has been working from the bullpen.<\/p>\n
Manaea pitched 3 \u00b2\/\u2083 innings in relief Thursday, allowing one earned run after Peterson was removed. Manager Carlos Mendoza credited the lefty\u2019s performance for helping the Mets win the series.<\/p>\n
Due to anticipated weather conditions, the Mets have changed the start times for their games Tuesday and Wednesday against the Diamondbacks. Both games are now scheduled for 4:10 p.m.<\/p>\n
