MARSHALLTOWN \u2014 The Indian Hills softball team moved into a tie for first-place in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Division I standings with a doubleheader sweep at Marshalltown Community College on Monday. The Warriors took both ends of the series, 16-2 and 21-4.<\/p>\n
With the sweep, Indian Hills moves to 18-18 overall and 5-1 in league play to earn a share of first place in the league standings with Southeastern Community College heading into a pivotal regional doubleheader between the teams in Ottumwa on Wednesday. The Warriors have now won five consecutive games, and nine of their last 10 ballgames. Dating back to the 2012 season, Indian Hills has now defeated Marshalltown 45 consecutive times.<\/p>\n
