The Phillies looked like they were headed for another long night at Oracle Park.<\/p>\n

Instead, they flipped the game in an instant. <\/p>\n

Alec Bohm delivered the go-ahead double in a four-run seventh inning, capping a rally sparked by Bryce Harper\u2019s two-run single, as the Phillies stormed back for a 6-4 win over the San Francisco Giants on Monday night. <\/p>\n

It was their fifth win in six games \u2014 and one that, for much of the night, didn\u2019t feel particularly close. <\/p>\n

The breakthrough came quickly in the seventh. Justin Crawford opened the inning with a single \u2014 his third multi-hit game already \u2014 and Trea Turner followed with one of his own. Kyle Schwarber then worked a walk to load the bases, setting the stage for Harper. <\/p>\n

Harper, who had already doubled twice earlier in the game, lined a two-run single to tie it, continuing a recent run of success at Oracle Park that dates back to last summer. Moments later, Bohm drove a ball into the gap for the go-ahead double, and Brandon Marsh added a sacrifice fly as the Phillies sent 10 men to the plate. <\/p>\n

In a matter of minutes, a four-run deficit was gone. <\/p>\n

The rally rescued rookie right-hander Andrew Painter, who labored through four innings in his second major league start. Painter allowed four runs on nine hits, a stark contrast from his debut on March 31, when he struck out eight and allowed just one run over 5 1\/3 innings in a win over Washington. <\/p>\n

San Francisco built its lead early. Matt Chapman delivered a two-run triple in the third inning, and Heliot Ramos followed with an RBI single. Luis Arraez added a sacrifice fly in the fourth as the Giants pushed the lead to 4-0. <\/p>\n

But they couldn\u2019t hold it. <\/p>\n

Giants starter Adrian Houser was effective into the seventh inning in his home debut before the Phillies\u2019 lineup finally broke through. Reliever Ryan Borucki took over and was charged with the loss as the inning unraveled. <\/p>\n

From there, the Phillies\u2019 bullpen took control. <\/p>\n

Tim Mayza and Jonathan Bowlan combined for two perfect innings, with Bowlan (1-0) earning the win. Jos\u00e9 Alvarado followed with a clean frame to protect the lead, and Brad Keller kept the Giants off the board in the eighth. <\/p>\n

Jhoan Duran handled the ninth, allowing a two-out double to Willy Adames before finishing the game for his fourth save in the season\u2019s first 10 games. <\/p>\n

The loss continued a difficult stretch for the Giants, who have dropped four straight and five of six. At 3-8, it marks their worst start since 2019, and the early struggles have been defined by both inconsistency and a mounting run differential deficit. <\/p>\n

For the Phillies, though, the story was simpler. <\/p>\n

They bent early, broke through late, and left with another win \u2014 the kind that starts to build momentum in April. <\/p>\n

Up next, left-hander Cristopher S\u00e1nchez (1-0, 0.79 ERA) takes the ball Tuesday night against Giants lefty Robbie Ray (1-1, 3.38 ERA).<\/p>\n
