The Athletic | Chris Kirschner<\/a>: Over the weekend, the Yankees faced the Marlins, and Miami have been doing something you might not have realized. Starting towards the end of last season, the Marlins have begun calling pitches in the dugout via the coaching staff and relaying them to the catcher and the pitcher. Don\u2019t expect the Yankees to hop on that, as both players and coaches openly said over the weekend that they don\u2019t like the idea.<\/p>\n

New York Daily News | Peter Sblendorio<\/a>: With a 7-2 record, the Yankees\u2019 2026 season has gone pretty well so far. One aspect of the team that has definitely struggled has been the lower part of the batting order, as the players who have batted in the 6-9 spots have a collective .404 OPS. However, between Jazz Chisholm Jr. hitting a big double on Sunday and just having faith in their players in general, the Yankees aren\u2019t worried about that yet.<\/p>\n
