{"id":669233,"date":"2026-04-07T23:35:35","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T23:35:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/669233\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T23:35:35","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T23:35:35","slug":"yankees-already-out-of-viral-fried-chicken-ice-cream-bucket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/669233\/","title":{"rendered":"Yankees already out of viral &#8216;fried chicken&#8217; ice cream bucket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For the time being, Yankees fans will be stuck with having to get an actual fried chicken at Yankee Stadium.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/03\/31\/sports\/yankees-unveil-dessert-chicken-bucket-ice-cream\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">viral \u00a0Mini Dessert \u201cChicken\u201d Bucket<\/a> \u2014 ice cream shaped like a fried chicken drumstick with a chocolate-covered pretzel bone and candied cornflakes and white chocolate \u2014 has sold out, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7176616\/2026\/04\/07\/yankees-fried-chicken-mini-dessert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">The Athletic reported<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39020554\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/mlb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/www-instagram-com-p-dwjrx3kebj-124804036.jpg\" alt=\"Two pieces of fried chicken in a New York Yankees branded cup.\" class=\"wp-image-39020554\"  \/> MLB<\/p>\n<p>The dessert item was a smash hit on social media after the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/02\/lifestyle\/yankee-stadiums-2026-food-selection\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yanks previewed their new food<\/a> offerings for home games this season, and received universal praise from the media and influencers who were invited to Yankee Stadium ahead of the home opener.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGiven how well-received the item was on media day, interest from fans was tremendous, and we sold out of the item by the first inning of Saturday\u2019s game,\u201d Yankees senior director of communications Michael Margolis told The Athletic in an email.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Yankees are selling the treat, which also comes with a mini bucket, for $10.99.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When the Yankees began their six-game homestand in The Bronx, they thought they had enough of the mini dessert chicken bucket, but by Saturday, they had run out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Bronx Bombers said the club would let everyone know when they were back in stock.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay reviewed the treat on his Instagram account, where he rates chicken tenders at the ballparks he visits while calling games.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook at it, it looks like chicken.
