J.T. Realmuto departed Tuesday evening’s Phillies-San Francisco Giants game early, with Rafael March\u00e1n pinch hitting for him in the top of the second inning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer<\/a>, Realmuto left the game with a bruised right foot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rafael Devers fouled a ball off of Realmuto’s foot in the bottom of the first inning, which is seemingly where the injury took place:\u00a0<\/p>\n

J.T. Realmuto took a foul tip to the foot and left the game shortly after.<\/p>\n

Realmuto, 35, is now in his eighth season with the Phillies. He tested free agency this past offseason, ultimately returning on a three-year\/$45 million deal, a pact that includes additional incentives<\/a>. The three-time All-Star is batting .240 with an .806 OPS early on in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
